Beta terms
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Proxy Labs is provided by Peter Zsoldos, Finland ("we"). By using the Proxy Labs app or website you agree to these terms.
1. The beta
Proxy Labs is in public beta. You may use it free of charge for personal and professional work while the beta lasts. Features may change, and we may end the beta at any time. If paid plans are introduced, we'll tell you in advance, and you won't be charged without explicitly agreeing to it.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address. Keep access to it secure, use one account per person, and don't share builds or accounts with others; invite them to sign up instead. One account can be active on up to 3 computers at a time; signing out on a computer frees its place.
3. Your footage and responsibilities
Your footage stays yours, and stays on your computer. Proxy Labs only reads your files; it doesn't modify, move or delete them. Its suggestions (rejects, moments, sync, face groups, transcripts) are assistive recommendations that require your review before relying on them, and you should always keep your own backups. You are responsible for having the right to process the footage you open, including the likenesses and voices of the individuals in it, in compliance with applicable privacy and biometric laws (e.g. GDPR, BIPA).
4. Acceptable use and third-party licences
Don't reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, and don't use it to break the law or anyone's rights. Proxy Labs incorporates third-party open-source components and machine-learning models (including YuNet, SFace, YAMNet, and Whisper) under their respective MIT and Apache-2.0 licences; see the third-party notices and "Third-party components" in the app's About window.
5. Feedback
If you send feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Proxy Labs without owing you anything. Thank you, it's what the beta is for.
6. No warranty
The beta is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or always available.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, footage, profits or business, arising from use of the beta. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Ending
You can stop using Proxy Labs and delete your account at any time by emailing proxylabsmail@gmail.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of the country they live in.
